It's my brother's birthday on the 18th and his interests are motor bikes and vintage cars so needless to say all his cards will be on those themes so I decided to do something different and used a Lighthouse - as you would. I have used the lovely set of stamps from Kanban and yes I embossed them in gold. I used the Spellbinders Marvellous squares both for the frame and the image and that was it.

Hi Marie-Louise. We have got lots of snow and it doesn't show any signs of stopping - "and I've bought some corn for popping, tra la!" Sorry the white stuff is addling my brain and now I'm singing Christmas songs! I love this image and how you have used it with Marvellous Squares. I have this set but don't use it often enough. Oh my word Marie-Louise - I haven't been by for a while and I do apologise. I have just been looking at some of your past cards and this one is simply superb!!! I think lots of us tend to forget to stamp and emboss in gold like this. This looks soooo perfect in this design. What a marvellous card!
