More dies

Hi everybody.  Hope you are all having a good day.  I just wanted to show you a card I made this morning using a stamp from Kanban and embossed with wow embossing powder.  I used the Spellbinders rectangles to cut it out and as always I used Centura Pearl card.  I like this die but have very great difficulty releasing the card from the die after it is cut.  Quite often I end up tearing the edges.   Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.  I have tried wax paper already with only limited success.  The background card I scored with my Hougie board, marianne dies on the front and pearls from Wild Orchid.  Little stand from Joy craft.

Your card is beautiful, as always, Marie-Louise. I love those gorgeous dies you used.

My tip for easy release, is to put a piece of greaseproof paper between the card and the die. I have some Spellbinder border dies that are very intricate, and if I don't use the greaseproof paper I tear them while trying to get them out. Hope this helps xx

I had to come by and see where you are from.. I never new that northern Ireland was so cold, or maybe I never thought about it. I have to tell you I met a girl at the CHA in Chicago in July and she is from Ireland. I loved hearing her talk and she was telling me it rains all the time and it is cold. That pour thing when she was here it was in the 90's.
I do to help my real delicate die release is take some wax paper and it works for me but maybe you need to a another layer of wax paper and them add your card stock. I hope this helps you. It works for me. I just thought of something else.. I bought a metal plate, it is the size of the big shot plates and sometimes I have to use that when I cut out very detailed dies, it is very thin.. Maybe you can add a thin piece of cardboard to get better pressure and that night give you a better cut.
I love your card, everything is just stunning. The stand is awesome, perfect to go a long with the card.
Hugs,
Patricia

this is so pretty, they are always so elegant...I have also heard that if you use your die to cut aluminum foil, it sharpens them.. I have yet to try it, but I know it works for punches.
Thank you for your kind compliments on my blog, for some reason, you don't show up on my feed, even though I have "followed you" a million times, so I am always so happy to see comments from you so I can link back and see your lovely creations.

Gorgeous, love it...I would like your permission to copy cat this card, ok if not...I just purchased some Crafers Foam Sheets by Cheery Lynn Designs that you put onto the cutting side of your die and presto, when you put it through your machine it compresses the die to the foam preventing the tearing and comes apart from the paper so easily...hope this helps.
