For my daughter-in-law

My daughter-in-law's birthday is on Friday and I had made a card much like this for her but yesterday a lady wanted a few cards and I showed her the card I had done for Maggie (of course she did not know that it was for Maggie) and she immediately said "oh! I'll have that" so I'm afraid business comes first - so she took that and the two pink/white ones that I have just shown plus another that I still had from a little while back - so I was very pleased as I sell all my cards for cancer.  This is the latest edition of the card for Maggie.  The image is a digi stamp which I got from Crafts and Me and the background is a stamp which I have recently bought from Waltzingmouse stamps, the pearls are from Wild Orchid and ribbon from my stash.

I'm so glad you are able to sell your cards. It is always nice to make a little money as we put out so much for all our goodies to make our wonderful creations. It is nice you have time to make Maggie another card and it turned out just beautiful. Your colors are striking and the dp is just perfect. I love Craft and Me images.

Hi Marie-louise,
Well , I’m back and I have the rest of today free so as to catch up on everyone’s creations since I have been away refurbishing my old house.
I adore reading the blog’s and looking at all the lovely cards and projects, almost as much as making the cards myself.
Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog , its so nice to keep in touch.
I hope you have a lovely bank holiday

Hugs Elaine

Hi Marie louise ref the black lines on digi images, I had that problem too .
I now use Neenah solar white card which I get from Create and craft or card craft plus, its a fabulous pure white card which is for use with promarkers and copics. I also let the printer ink dry for a day before colouring in , it does work .
Hope this helps Hugs Elaine
