So much paper

Hi everybody.  Let me say Thank You to both Karen and Woo for adding your names as followers.  It is such a surprise to me when I see another name added - you all have such wonderful blogs and cards to match.  Looking  at everyone elses cards I am constantly reminded that my paper stack just does not seem right.  Every time I take out papers to try to match 2 it never seems to work - so it seems like time to add more to the paper stack and purchase a few nice pads where the matching would be done for me and at this rate I am going to need a bigger house.  My son assures me that our spare room has actually got a bed in it - I'm not so sure - perhaps one of these days I will look under the mountain of paper and things which have been cut out.  Isn't it strange how whenever you buy a new set of dies or stamps you cut and stamp loads of pieces which just go into another box in case you might want them later and later rarely happens.  Anyway I tried using up some bits and pieces on these two cards - so I've made a start.
The train stamp is from Stamp Addicts with some backing papers from a pad of Male Craft Papers by Southfield.  The little girl was a freebie stamp with a magazine and the blue backing card was from a set of  no name designed cards bought at a craft show.  She is stamped onto Nesties and coloured with Promarkers.

Thank you for taking a look.

Hello Marie-Louise

Two beautiful cards. I love the train image and gorgeous papers. The serene colours of your second card are gorgeous, and an adorable image.

I know what you mean about crafting goodies betting bigger by the minute.

Hi Marie-Louise, your cards are really beautiful. Woowhooo to NI crafters! Heehee. Im in Co Down. Isnt it a real shame we dont have bigger and better craft shops rather than one main one in Belfast? I know there a few wee shops scattered about but we really are way behind in crafting I think. The Craft Fair at the Kings Hall last month was very poor I thought too. Anyway, Im with you on the paper front. I am notorious for not having a lot of papers. I do go to buy good papers but then I get distracted by distress inks and lace and flower making. I really need to buy decent papers, I have such a minute little pile of sad and lonely papers, lol. Theres certainly nothing wrong with the papers youve used in these cards Marie-Louise, they are beautiful. Lee xx

wow two lush cards Marie, if you have problems matching papers just use one paper and use a plain white scrap card for highlights behind the layers, works a treat and you get to use your single sheets...I love the papers on the train card, perfectly matched...its serious our addictions to stash isnt it lol

Oh I had better warn you..buying papers is addictive..it starts with one tiny pad and soon there's a whole room full of the stuff!!

Thank you so much for the comment you left on my blog today, it is very much appreciated, and Astrid has read all the comments and is encouraged by them all, as well as being deeply touched by everyones thoughtfulness.
