A book on scrapbooking

Hi everybody - I'm afraid I have no card today as I have had the decorator in and have been very busy - however my friend Elizabeth whom a lot of you will know as the Silver Scrapper  (http://silverscrappers.blogspot.co.uk/) has a lovely giveaway.  Elizabeth is a scrapbooker and is offering one of her books on the subject as a candy - all you have to do is add your name and mention this on your blog.  This is the book she is offering

A wonderful win for anyone interested in scrapbooking.  I have already left her a comment and have my fingers crossed.
I hope none of you are suffering because of this foul weather.

Colouring

Good afternoon everybody.  Its been a bright but cold day here but at least it is dry and we have not had any of the snow which is affecting so many.  My card today is a commission and is for a little girl for her birthday.  Normally I do not "do" colouring but my normal die cards would not have been right for this occasion.  I have the stamp so long that I do not know which one it is. The paper is digi paper   from Pink Petticoat and the die is Spellbinders and all of this is mounted on to Centura Pearl cardstock.

Thank you for taking a look and for all the lovely comments that you so regularly leave.

CASE'd cards

Hi everybody from a very cold Northern Ireland.  It is bright and dry but very windy and cold.  Both of my cards today are taken from ideas  I have seen on other blogs.  I liked the ides so much that I wanted to make a version of them.  The first card is from the desk of the wonderful Linda Duke  (http://www.lindaduke.typepad.com/).  Those of you who are not familiar with her work should take a look at her blog - she makes the most beautiful cards.  I also have to thank my good friend Jeannie for the loan of the Poppy Die.  This is my version of Linda's card.

My second card is taken from the desk of the equally marvellous Bekka Feeken  (http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/)  again Bekka's blog is well worth a visit.  This is my version of her card.

Thank you for visiting today and taking a look.

From my stash

Hi everybody.  It is lovely and bright and sunny here today but still cool.  I went into my craft room today with the intention of tidying my desk but needless to say I got sidetracked.  This embossed rose topper has been in my stash for ages and I keep looking at it and  putting it down again so I decided today was the day.  I'm afraid the photograph is not very good but it was the one which best showed the lovely shade of green of the card.  It is a soft sage green.

I want to say Thank You for all the lovely comments that you constantly leave.  I read and appreciate every one.

My new Grand Calibur

Hi everybody.  Well it's a cool and  overcast day here but at least it is dry.  As you know my Grand Calibur died on me (at 18 months old) but I decided that it was not really worth my while paying to have it shipped somewhere to have it fixed so I bought a new one on the Spellbinders blockbuster that was on Create and Craft recently and when I told my son that I had bought it he said he would go half on it for me for Mother's Day.  So maybe Students aren't so bad after all!!  Anyway I ordered it on a Saturday and it was delivered on Tuesday morning - very quick for once.  Needless to say I had to play around with it and  so I made these cards.

Thank you for taking the time to look in.

A man's card.

Good afternoon everybody from a bitterly cold N. Ireland.  It has been trying to snow here all day but thank goodness it melts as it falls.  My card today is the dreaded  man's card.  I know I am going to need quite a few men's cards in the coming months (both commissions and family) so I made a start today.  I was going to say that I was undecided about this card but if I do that then my friend Jacqui  at Jacqui's little piece of England  - http://jacquibourne7.blogspot.co.uk/  will phone me and  give me a "telling off". LOL   Anyway thank you for taking a look.
