Hi Everybody and a very warm welcome to my new followers Jackie and Sandra.  My first card today is one that I made which I thought would be rather nice for an 80th birthday which was requested by my neighbour but when I gave her a choice of a few cards she did not choose this one and actually much to my surprise chose the second card.

This is actually the card she chose.

I hope you have all been enjoying the lovely weather.  It has been very misty here since yesterday and unfortunately rain is on it's way.  Thank you for taking a look.

  5. Wow, Marie-Louise, what lovely cards. I really like how you folded the die-cut on the first and wonderful card die-cut shape too. Your second one is so totally beautiful with the die-cut gold butterfly against that great DP and great bow. I would have a hard time trying to choose!!

  40. I prefer the top card - effective because of its relative simplicity, I think. There's no right or wrong about art though is there? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  45. Oh Marie-Louise both of these cards are stunning, it's hard to choose a favorite... sorry I haven't been for a visit for a while, but life has been quiet hectic recently.. thank you for your lovely comments on my blog, and I'm sorry to hear that your husbands injections didn't work either.. I think they might replace David's hip as it's more work related than arthritis, as he was in heavy engineering, and pain killers just don't work for him.
    Love and Hugs,
    Marjorie xx
