Hi Everyone from a very bright but chilly day here in Northern Ireland.  It is certainly more Spring like today after the rain and winds of the last few days.  My card today is as CAS as I could possible make.  The La Blanche stamp had been lying in the drawer and never been used - so I decided to stamp it and gold emboss it just to see what it looked like.  I was quite pleased with the outcome so I put it on a plain Spellbinders diecut and used plain card and a little mirror card for matting.  When I looked at the finished card I thought that it would probably be useful for a Sympathy card.  The green is slightly darker in the photograph.  In real life it is actually a very soft sage green.
Thank you so much for looking in.

  16. Things here are starting to get a little warmer. All the snow has melted, but I'm sure we will get more. This card is so elegant I love La Blanche stamps they have so many beautiful stamps. Their works is fantastic. That was a good idea to cut out a gold frame. The green was a perfect choice. Just stunning.

  19. Well it sure does look gorgeous in the picture!!!!
    Sorry I have not been around for a while but we are busy packing for a move to another state. We are moving into a house that is half the size of the house we live in now. Yes the senior years are upon us and we have to down size. No regrets! I probably won't be posting for a while but I will be peeping in from time to time!

  23. Hi Marie-Louise, in response to your question re the cameo...it has certain blade levels for the type of paper you use. For example if I use card stock I put the blade onto 5-6 setting, if I use a thin piece of paper, like one in the printers, I use a size 2 setting...it is so versatile, and I have two cricut machines and never use them...my cameo is my friend and it does cut the most flimsy of files....do you want one of my cricut machines....xxx{The Journey is the Start – my personal blog}
