A quick make

Good afternoon everybody.  First of all I want to say Welcome to my new followers and Thank You for adding your name to my blog.  I started too play around with some new dies that I had received and was happlily playing when I heard the unmistakeable sound of a mouse.  Hence the fact that the card was made quickly.  I have since installed three " pest stops" and there has been no more noise - so far.

I have taken the photo from a side view as otherwise the gold mirror card looked grey and it is also difficult to photograph without getting your own reflection.  Thank you for having a look.

  9. Such a beautiful card Marie-Louise. The die is beautiful. Living in the country we get little visitors inside in the winter - but I don't like it!!!!Earlier in the year John brought in a basket of logs and I was sitting quietly in front of the fire when one of these little blighters climbed out of the basket, ran along the edge of the wall and then back again. Fortunately we caught it straight way. It was obviously in the basket when he brought it in. The joys of living in the country. Glad you seem to have sorted out your problem. Christine x

  13. Hi Marie-Louise,
such a beautiful card. Wonderful detail. I do so love your stand you put your cards on to photograph them.
Any more sign of the little mouse.
I had a rat walk into my front room a few weeks ago. Needless to say I don't leave my back door open any more.
There is a fishing lake just behind my fence so this could be the reason why.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

We get those little creature about this time of year trying to get into the house so we need to put those pest stops out as well. They can do so much damage.

  27. This is beautiful Marie-Louise.

I have to tell you the story about my mouse. We had a cat and a ferret. Both of those animals are supposed to be good at catching mice. We went away for a weekend a few years ago, and when we got back, the cat, the ferret and a mouse were all eating together out of a big dish together. Apparently they cat and ferret thought the mouse was just another friend!

It took me a couple of days, but I finally managed to get the mouse into a jar, and took it about a mile away from my house and let it go.
