Clean and Simple

Good morning everybody.  Hope it's drier with you than it is here.  I want to show you my attempt at clean and simple - no ribbons, bows, flowers or butterflies - just two dies.  The large oval is a new die from Marianne Dies and the ladies profile is from a set that I bought  from Kameo Cards which is no longer in business.  As always I have used Centura pearl card.  Again with each card I enclose a little stand which was a die from Joy crafts.  As most of my cards are not flat I make enveloboxes and emboss a rose in the corner.

    Beautiful card, Marie-Louise. The silhouette is lovely and I do like your little stands, such a good idea.

    Read your comment on my blog and I think the dies you are referring to - on the left of the Cuttlebug in my photo - is Labels Nine. It's a really lovely shape.

    I'm so relieved too, after turning the place upside down I finally found the missing die - phew!

    You make such beautiful cards.. I just saw a link to your card stands on Christina's blog and I must say, they are gorgeous... I love the enveloboxes...is there a tutorial for making them? I ususally use a 5x7 card...I also love the music on your page.. thank you!
