Something simple

Hi everybody.  Hope you all have been enjoying this fabulous weather.  I have made a card today that was a special request.  A lady asked for a card for her daughter who is going to graduate in November but did not want the traditional  cap and gown type of card and requested that the card be done in black and white.  I kept the card quite simple and the lady is delighted with the result.  I have simply used a Marianne embossing folder and some Spellbinder dies.  The little butterfly which I use so very often is a punch and was one of my first crafting purchases.  Thank you for taking a look.

In between age

Hi everybody and thank you for all the wonderful comments on my last card.  The card I have today is for Gerry's grand daughter who is in her early teens - too old for a childish card and too young for an adult card - so since she is now taking an interest in clothes and makeup and hairstyles I thought that one of the fabulous shoes would appeal to her.  I have used kraft card for a change after seeing how good it looks on Jacqui's cards  (http://jacquibourne7.blogspot.co.uk/) and also used some paper from Pink Petticoat , the dies are spellbinders and the base card is from craft creations.  Thank you for taking a look.

Bling it on.....

Good morning everybody.  Hope you all are enjoying this fabulous weather.  My card today was a commission for a 50th wedding anniversary.  I decided to stay away from the traditional gold as I knew that all the cards the couple would receive would be gold themed.  I am happy to say that the customer was totally delighted with the result.  The card shape is a die from Go Kreate and the embossing folder is Tied  Together.  As always I have used Centura Pearl card and pearls and roses from Wild Orchid.

Thank you for taking the time to look in today.

Candy Stripe

Hi everybody.  Hope you are all enjoying this fantastic weather.  I have two cards to show you today but they are virtually the same.  The shape is from the Spellbinders rectangle range and the papers are from Pink Petticoat.  The flower was a free digi and I am sorry that I do not know where I got it from.

Thank you for taking a look.

Fabulous Shoes

Good afternoon everybody from a wet and miserable N. Ireland.   This really looks just like a winter's day.  I think the best place to be today is the craft room.  My card today is a digi from the fabulous shoes cd. and looking through these images it is so hard to choose - they are all gorgeous.  I'm afraid that the colours of the flowers and the green matt look darker in the photograph than they do in real life.  They are in fact the same colour as the shoe.

Thank you for looking in and for all the kind comments that you continually leave.

Hi everybody.  First of all I want to say Welcome to my new followers and thank you to all my followers for taking the time to look in.  My card today is just a simple card for my sister's wedding anniversary which will be on Sunday  - but I know that she does not read my blog so it is safe to show it.  It is very simply done with a Spellbinders die and a Cheery Lynn doily die, some ribbon and a few flowers and pearls.
Thank you again for looking in.

Finally

Hi everybody.  First of all I want to say a huge thank you to all the marvellous bloggers who leave me such very kind comments.  I appreciate all of them.  I would also like to say thank you to the people who sent me messages and e-mails to see if I was ok since I had not been posting any cards.  I had a few commissions to do that I could not post and also - as happens -  life gets difficult at times.  However we have had a few days sunshine and it has been warmer so that cheers everone up.

My card today is a Marianne die and the backing paper is a snippet which was on my desk from a sheet I had used earlier.  It is from Pink Petticoat.  The digi stamp is one which was in my folder and I had printed it onto a Spellbinders diecut.  The pearls are from Wild Orchid and the gorgeous ribbon was a gift from my very generous friend Jacqui   http://jacquibourne7.blogspot.co.uk  - if there is actually anybody out there who has not seen Jacqui's work - you really should take a look - she makes the most gorgeous cards.
