Hi everybody. I hope that you are all enjoying the same beautiful sunny weather that we have been having for the last number of days. My card today is made from a Tonic Die which although it is quite a nice die I do not think there is very much you can do with it. Normally I like a die which I can use in different ways but this die I find to be quite limited.

Many Thanks
Hi everybody. First of all I want to say Thank You for all the kind comments both on my card and on my son's achievement. My card today is one that I saw on the blog of the wonderful Sasha of Sasha's Inspirations. Sasha did this card in the most beautiful shade of green and it is well worthwhile looking at her blog as her cards are simply gorgeous. The die is Spellbinders Adorning Squares cut from Centura Pearl cardstock and the flowers were a gift from my lovely friend Jacqui.

Hi everybody and a very warm welcome to my new followers. As you can see I have the Hodgkins Lymphoma badge on my sidebar. This is because my son (who was 21 at the time) was diagnosed 4 years ago. When he was diagnosed he was in the latter stages of the disease (stage 4). Well my reason for telling you this is that he enrolled in University shortly after he was diagnosed and attended classes between his chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions which took almost a year and last week he got his exam results and has passed and is now B.Sc. I am so very proud of him.
Anyway, my card today was a commssion for a 50th birthday. The little flower was my first attempt at a flower made from crafters clay and a little mould.

Hi everybody. Thank you for taking the time to look in and for all the lovely comments that you leave. They are so very much appreciated. My card today is one that I made about a month ago for my stock box but I never got around to posting it on here. My neighbour has just purchased it for her son's partner so I thought I would show it before I gave it to her. When she saw it I did not have a box made for it but now it is ready to go.
I used a matt hammered card for a change and layered it with a Marianne cut and emboss folder - my usual ribbon and flowers . The tiny flowers I made from a small tonic punch which came free with a magazine years ago.

Hope you all have a lovely Easter.

Hi everybody and a very warm welcome to my new followers - thank you for adding your name to my little blog. I do appreciate that so many take the time to look in and leave a comment. I can now show this card as my friend has now received it. I made this for my friend Rita and her husband Bill who last week celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Rita herself is a very talented card maker so no pressure there!!
The card is cut with spellbinder dies and the heart is the memory box La Rue heart. My usual ribbon and some flowers which were a gift from my friend Jacqui - thank you Jacqui.

Hi everybody. It has been a very long time since my last post - I have been making a few cards when my commitments allow but did not get around to posting them. Firstly I want to say Welcome to my new followers and thank you to all my followers for your lovely comments.
My card today was requested by my neighbour for her friend and I am glad to say that she was very pleased with it. I saw the idea on Pinterest from the desk of Debbie Steven - paperpastimes. Her cards are simply beautiful. I treated myself to the Spellbinders Grand Squares and they have made life so much easier. The roses I rolled myself from a Marianne die.

Tapestry
Hi everybody and a very warm welcome to my new followers. I want to say Thank You to all the lovely people who regularly leave such nice comments. It is very encouraging. My card today is from an idea and a beautiful card by the marvellous Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace. The card shape is cut from a Go Kreate die and the die cut in the centre of the card is Spellbinders Tapestry die. Flowers from Wild Orchid and ribbon and pearls from stash.
