My Birthday Card
I just could not resist posting this card. We try so hard when making cards - colours, detail, image, backing papers etc. Well my birthday was last week and my brother who works with metal made me a stainless steel card. I thought it was brilliant.

Tracking Cookies
Hi Everybody. I decided to post this just in case any of you were interested. I have found that trawling through Blogland and visiting some shopping sites that I am picking up a load of tracking cookies. Now I know that these are not a virus and are harmless but I do not like the thought of companies tracking my surfing and shopping. I (sometime ago) downloaded an Anti Spyware programme which I run daily and it is amazing the number of tracking cookies that it weeds out. On a normal day it could be 18 and somedays as many as 56. I do of course use an anti virus programme but this is completely different. It is called SuperAnti Spyware and it is the free edition. I downloaded it from www.filehippo.com which is a very trustworthy site which I have used for years. It might be worthwhile for you to download it and see what you think. It downloads in a few minutes and after all if you don't like it you can always uninstall it. I will be interested to hear what you think. Marie-Louise

My new stamp
Hi everybody. First of all I want to extend a very warm welcome to Sharon, Ger, Lisa S and Lisa M , Maria and Crafty Chris and thank you for adding your names to my blog. After receiving the wonderful package from Karen I just had to try out the stamps. I am not artistic by nature and my colouring clearly shows this - so I am secretly pleased that my photo is slightly fuzzy. After finishing the card I felt it needed something else but I refrained from adding any more extras - what do you think? Thank you for dropping by. All your comments are greatly appreciated. A clear out
I want to say Welcome and Thank you to Sandy, Pat and Izzwizz for adding your names to my blog - it really does mean a lot to me. Now - today I have been trying to make space in what used to be known as the spare room and I came across an embossing board. It is a Helix board and is for use with their workstation. It is called intricate shapes. I bought this as they said on t.v. at the time that you really did not need the workstation in order to use this but in fact you really do need the workstation and I do not have one. If any of my followers have a workstation by Helix and would like to have this board please e-mail me your name and address and I will post it to you - free - gratis and no charge - you are welcome to have it. If more than one of you e-mail me I will send it to the first one I hear from. My e-mail is marielouisemcfall@gmail.com Hope some of you lovely ladies have a home for this. Marie-Louise

Thank you
Just to say Thank You to Johanna, Elaine, Suemoone and Hazel for adding your names as followers. I do appreciate this.
Breaking the mould.
I've decided to try and move out of my comfort zone so having received a pad of lovely papers from Cuddly Buddly which I had ordered only a few days ago (their delivery time is excellent) I put together this little card as an experiment. I am quite pleased with the way it turned out but I have a way to go yet. The paper is from the Tilda Autumngarden pad and the stamp is Crafters Companion Rose from Flower Fairies Friends. The flowers and pearl heart buckle are from Wild Orchid and the butterfly is from Wonderful Wings Grand Shapabilities from Spellbinders.

So much paper
Hi everybody. Let me say Thank You to both Karen and Woo for adding your names as followers. It is such a surprise to me when I see another name added - you all have such wonderful blogs and cards to match. Looking at everyone elses cards I am constantly reminded that my paper stack just does not seem right. Every time I take out papers to try to match 2 it never seems to work - so it seems like time to add more to the paper stack and purchase a few nice pads where the matching would be done for me and at this rate I am going to need a bigger house. My son assures me that our spare room has actually got a bed in it - I'm not so sure - perhaps one of these days I will look under the mountain of paper and things which have been cut out. Isn't it strange how whenever you buy a new set of dies or stamps you cut and stamp loads of pieces which just go into another box in case you might want them later and later rarely happens. Anyway I tried using up some bits and pieces on these two cards - so I've made a start.
The train stamp is from Stamp Addicts with some backing papers from a pad of Male Craft Papers by Southfield. The little girl was a freebie stamp with a magazine and the blue backing card was from a set of no name designed cards bought at a craft show. She is stamped onto Nesties and coloured with Promarkers.
Thank you for taking a look.

Miserable day
Good afternon everybody. It is a miserable grey day here with more rain still to come. First of all let me say Welcome and thank you to Linda for adding her name as a Follower. I spent some time this morning doing this card for a friend's birthday. She is a more mature person and not really into "frilly" so I thought that keeping it simple and plain would be appropriate. I copied part of an idea from one of Sue Wilson's cards. I'm afraid the photography is not really up to speed but hopefully a new camera will arrive courtesy of Santa. Thank you for taking the time to drop in.

A card for my brother
First of all let me say a huge Thank You to Mina, CraftyLoops, Sue, Wendy, Isswizz, Jules and Irene for being so kind as to add your name to my Followers and for your lovely comments. Looking at everybodys blogs I do realise just how much I have to learn. This card I made for my brother who has completely rebuilt an old Austin and has made it into a little roadster not unlike these. It also gave me the opportunity to try out my one and only mask. The images are from the Nostalgia cd. and the backing paper is from Debbie Moore's Shabby Chic cd. I have to add that the photographer has been complaining that he does not get a mention - so Gerry consider yourself mentioned - despite the fact that Lord Litchfield would have been less fussy.

A first attempt
This is my first attempt at doing a side stepper card. I also wanted to try out some new Spellbinders tags that I had bought. The little roses are Joanna Sheen stamps.

Welcome
Hi and Welcome To My World. I have been making cards for 2 years but never would have thought of showing my efforts without the encouragement of my friend Silverscrapper (Elizabeth). I would be glad to receive any tips which would help me improve. Thank you for taking the time to look and I do hope that you will come back.
